COMPANY PROFILE

The Cassese Crusher Oleari Ltd. produces an extra virgin olive oil of high quality. Born in 1975, and owned by Mr. Giovanni Cassese, who received the baton in conducting business from his father Amalio who, with his experience and expertise qualified him sent a huge passion for the profession, without which no company can take, grow and achieve outstanding results.

 

The crusher is spread over an area of 15.000 square meters and is managed by the family Cassese who works by himself to perform all the technical and commercial management operations, taking advantage of the help of some skilled workers. Visiting the plant and facilities proves the diligence and perseverance to work for the owners and their foresight in investing in order to enrich and improve production techniques, with the aim to obtain a higher quality product. The structure of the crusher was in fact expanded and modernized through the installation of extraction of the most advanced and qualified to ensure a national process and cost, which contributes to enhance the organoleptic quality of raw material.

Every year we processed about 140.000 tons of olives, found for most in the regional area (Apulia), about 30.000 tons come from olive trees owned.

Olives to be processed in the crusher conferred Cassese are the best varieties, mainly ogliarola, nociara and leccino collected for hand picking the right degree of ripeness, from which gives around 23.800 tons of oil of which 30% extra virgin extracted in a cold continuous cycle plant that can operate with two or three phases. The oil is then stored in stainless steel tanks to maintain unchanged the properties, content of vitamins and antioxidants, in addition to the pleasant aroma and taste that make it one of the main food in our diet.

A fine quality extra virgin yellow color with greenish hues, which has the palate with a fruity flavor with hints of apple and the nose with a scent of olive oil with grassy notes, ideal to accompany fish or enjoy raw.

The oil produced is sold or go directly to the consumer at the mill, both in the north Italy with the system of canvassing, and approximately 10-15% is traded under the symbol "Frantoio Oleario Cassese estratto a freddo" in 3 and 5 liters cans or 100 ml, 250 ml, 500 ml, 750 ml

and 1 lt bottles.

The spirit of sacrifice and commitment of Giovanni Cassese and his family to improve and grow year after year are in fact rewarded by a renewed confidence and loyalty of customers who have come to know and appreciate the quality of its product as well as from increase the number of consumers who buy oil by relying on word of mouth.
